1996

  • In cooperation with the companies Micnet s.r.o. and Internet Data Project s.r.o., we have launched an exchange advertising network BillBoard.

1999

  • Thanks to successful development of the project BillBoard.cz we have started a company Internet BillBoard s.r.o.

2000

  • As Internet BillBoard we were one of the founding members of the Sdružení pro Internetovou reklamu - SPIR in Czech Republic.

2001

  • We launched the first version of the Ad Server under the mark BB Media, which was quickly adopted by the market of publishers, media houses and media agencies.

2005

  • We extended our offer by the BB Kontext.cz system for the context advertisement and BB Text for the Intext advertisement.
  • We continually expanded activities of the BillBoard network to other European countries.

2007

  • We changed our legal entity to the Internet BillBoard a.s.
  • We created a new product brand BBelements, covering the line of technological products for the online advertisement management. BBmedia was changed to the BBelements Ad Server.
  • We introduced a new product BBelements Intext Server, as a technology for management of the Intext advertisement.
  • We established a subsidiary company BBelements Sp. z .o.o. - providing the sale of our services on the Polish market.

2009

  • We released an extension to the Ad Server - BB Video, for the management of the video advertisement in the video players.

2011

  • We celebrated 15 years of existence by the expansion to other markets in the Baltic countries, Hungary and Russia.

2012

  • We launched our advertising network operating on the RTB principles - iBILLBOARD RTB/SSP as the first company in Czech Republic.
  • We opened the subsidiary company in Turkey - iBILLBOARD Internet Reklam Hiz.ve Bilişim Tek. A.Ş.
  • We opened the subsidiary company in Poland - iBILLBOARD Poland Sp. z o.o.
  • We undergo a complete rebranding of our product lines - BBelements to iBILLBOARD.

2013

  • We become a member of German media concern Ströer Digital Medial Group.
  • We introduced a extension to the Ad Server - iBILLBOARD Mobile, designed for more effective work with advertising on mobile devices.

2015

  • We started refactoring and redesign of current iBILLBOARD products.
  • We launched first version of iBILLBOARD Video Ad Server.
  • We entered the German market with our products.

2020

  • Since 2020, we operate under the STRÖER labs brand. It is an international team of developers working together to help media remain independent and free.

2024

  • We closed the sale of the iBILLBOARD product for the Czech, Polish and Turkish markets and are fully focused on developing products for the German market.

2025

  • We began implementing AI tools extensively into our development processes and workflows. We believe artificial intelligence is the future and consider it crucial to learn how to use it effectively.
